We then left the desk and went back to our room. At this point I had exhausted my kindness and said “so basically, you’re saying we’re f*****?” And with a big smile on his face he replied, “yes, there is nothing I can do”. He said there was nothing he could do and didn’t know why the system wasn’t working, abrasively. We kindly asked for a meal voucher or gift card, any way to just pay for the food that we were already told would be credited. As it turns out, the restaurant employees said it hadn’t been working all day, so the manager was aware of this when he gave us the credit to “make up for the false charge”, knowing it wouldn’t work anyways. This is when customer service went out the window, the situation was again explained (he was already aware from earlier) and he told us there was nothing he could do. So again we went to the front desk and explained the situation to the lady at the front desk who was very understanding and trying to fix the situation by bringing the manager out. When we went to use the credit later for dinner, all of the systems were down and we were unable to get food with it after going to multiple restaurants in the casino. The manager gave us a $75 food and beverage credit to make up for it, which helped out a lot! So I thought. We went to the front desk around 2pm and the employees were very understanding and took off the $170 charge and said it would be returned at checkout, which wasn’t good because I still couldn’t use that money till it was released from the bank. This was money I was planning on spending on food and games at the hotel, but was now tied up on “pending” bank charges, on top of the double resort fee I paid when checking in. Fast forward to Saturday morning and I’d been charged a “late checkout fee” of $170.00, even though we were still booked for another day and weren’t checking out that day. Friday was great the hotel had great food and games. Turns out, he reported us for being late to check out.

I checked in at approximately 1 am on Thursday night, so there was no need for room service in the morning at 9 am when the housekeeper came, I asked him to skip us and he moved to the next room. But what they don’t tell you is that when you check in they over authorize your card for double the amount, and claim they will give the extra charge back to you at check out, which I was willing to accept seeing as I traveled here and had no choice to. On the confirmation they say they will collect _X_ amount for a resort fee, which is clear when you’re booking it.
